Caregiving Support: Caring for a Loved one with Parkinson Disease
It is estimated that nearly 8.5 million individuals are diagnosed with Parkinson’s,
globally. It is predicated that this number will grow significantly over the next couple
years. This debilitating disease can impact both the patient and family caregivers. There
is an immense physical, emotional, and financial pressure on the family caregivers as
they try to optimize on their loved one’s health status. There are resourceful support
groups throughout the Phoenix Area that can serve as a safe communal space for
family caregivers to connect with other families in similar predicaments:

resources to mitigate and challenges in optimize the patients’ health. Family Caregivers
